Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Akilora uses cookies and similar technologies on the Akilora website, application, checkout flows, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
Akilora is operated by LUZARN SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ, with its registered office at ul. Władysława Jagiełły 16/1, 02-495 Warsaw, Poland, KRS: 0000340901, NIP: 1231190797, REGON: 141912737.
For questions about this Cookie Policy, contact us at: hello@akilora.com.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website or use an online service. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, tags, scripts, device identifiers, and server logs.
2. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies to provide core functionality, keep the Services secure, remember cookie preferences, support login and checkout flows, and enable optional persistent analytics or advertising measurement where you allow this. We also use cookieless analytics, which do not store a PostHog identifier in your browser, to understand product usage and improve Akilora.
3. Cookie Categories
| Category | Purpose | Can You Disable Them? |
|---|---|---|
| Mandatory cookies | Required for security, core site functionality, session handling, checkout support, and saving cookie choices. | No. |
| Analytics cookies | Enable persistent analytics identifiers, account-linked measurement, and session replay beyond cookieless analytics. | Yes. |
| Advertising cookies | Help us measure campaigns, understand marketing performance, and support marketing personalization where applicable. | Yes. |
4. Mandatory Cookies
Mandatory cookies are necessary for the Services to work correctly. We may use them to maintain secure sessions, protect against fraud and abuse, remember cookie preferences, route requests, support checkout and payments, and provide account and billing functionality.
Because these cookies are essential, they are always enabled. If you block them in your browser, parts of the Services may not work properly.
5. Analytics Cookies
PostHog operates in cookieless mode when optional analytics cookies have not been allowed. In this mode, PostHog does not store its identifiers in cookies, local storage, or session storage. It derives a short-lived anonymous identifier on its servers using request information and a rotating salt, removes the source IP address from the stored event, and can measure page views, sessions, interactions, product events, errors, and performance without identifying the visitor's account. Features that require browser persistence are unavailable in cookieless mode.
If you allow analytics cookies, PostHog may store a persistent analytics identifier in your browser, associate analytics with your account where available, and enable session replay and more detailed measurement across visits.
Analytics cookies are optional and are used only where permitted by your cookie choices and applicable law. Rejecting or ignoring optional analytics cookies leaves PostHog in cookieless mode.
6. Advertising Cookies
Advertising cookies may help us measure marketing campaigns, understand referral sources, support attribution, and improve marketing effectiveness.
Advertising cookies are optional and are used only where permitted by your cookie choices and applicable law.
7. Third-Party Cookies and Services
Some cookies or similar technologies may be set by third-party providers supporting Akilora, including providers involved in payments and checkout, hosting and infrastructure, analytics, advertising or campaign measurement, security, logging, reliability, and customer communication.
Third-party providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and cookie policies.
8. Stripe and Payment-Related Technologies
Akilora uses Stripe and related payment infrastructure to process payments, save payment methods where applicable, handle automatic top-ups, determine totals including any taxes required by applicable law, and manage billing events.
Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies for payment processing, fraud prevention, authentication, compliance, and service reliability. Akilora does not store full payment card numbers in its own systems.
9. Managing Cookie Preferences
You can manage optional cookie categories through Akilora's cookie preferences interface:
https://akilora.com/legal/cookie-preferences/
Your choices apply to the browser and device where you set them. If you use a different browser, device, private browsing mode, or clear cookies, you may need to set your preferences again.
10. Browser Controls
Most browsers allow you to delete existing cookies, block all cookies, block third-party cookies, receive alerts before cookies are stored, or manage site-specific cookie permissions.
Browser-level blocking may affect mandatory cookies and may cause parts of the Services to stop working correctly.
11. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we change cookie categories, add or remove providers, update the Services, or need to reflect legal changes.
When we update this Cookie Policy, we will change the "Last updated" date above.
